Oh what lovely jovely colours! I especially love the idea of forest green for Fall. Well, Im biased because Fall is by far my favourite fashion season. All the cardigans and dark colours and petite gloves! "My cup fills with tiddles," as Humbert Humbert would say. The second this dreadfully hot weather disappears I'm throwing on a pair of royal purple woolen tights. I wish school uniform would allow us to wear whatever coloured tights we so pleased. Imagine how much more spirited we would be! What, with a plethora of bright stockinged legs the rainbow fever would be infectious. Rant done!

My apologies for not posting in a week...there's this horrible thing called high school. Okay, I exaggerated just a tad! I actually missed school and and am pleasantly surprised by all of my classes. Alas, a challenging english class! It's good to be back with all of my friends, as I didn't do a very good job at maintaining a social life over the summer. The other thing that is occupying most of my time is Speech and Debate. I have been made "probational" (don't ask) captain of the speech portion of speech and debate. This is actually quite draining as there are more new members then I anticipated. But WAIT, there's more!!! I have ALSO taken up a figure drawing class on Thursday nights from 7-10. I am slightly overwhelmed, hence the lack of posts. As for leather skirts, they seem to be making a come back. There IS a classy way to where black leather, contrary to popular belief. As long as you steer clear of the ghetto trashy looking leather you should be fine. Maybe match it up with some pearls to bring it back to a more sophisticated look. Anyway, I have a mountain of homework!

if you haven't noticed by now, I am in LOVE with the latest Louis Vuitton show. All the power suits mixed with the peach and nude colour palette just give it a really feminine 80s feel to it! At the moment, my lovely friend Darbishire (her real name is Darby) is jumping on my mushroom chair while threatening to pull down the attic's ladder onto my head...I really ought to go now. Oh dear, now she's ramming her glasses upon my face.

I'm so sorry for not posting in two whole weeks!!! I was at Stanford University for debate camp (I know, I'm a complete nerd). I already miss all of my SNFI (stanford national forensics institution)09 buddies, however I do not miss the 24/7 workload. I had two lovely room mates, Natasha and Carrie, who patiently put up with my shenanigans, as well as a jamba juice buddy, Zhou, who accompanied me to jamba juice half asleep every morning. I have acquired a love for fuzball, as I played it every night in the lounge. Overall, I had a stressful blast and came out of the experience with a ton of new friends. Now for the fashion part of this post! I was watching the movie Mamma Mia the other night and made a mental note of thigh high boots they were dancing in. When worn correctly they have the potential of looking super cute! Perhaps an oversized blazer? I especially like The Louis Vuitton ones, as I have a thing for ruffles and ribbons and all of that girlie stuff. The black just balances it all out. Anywho, I'll post pictures from my trip as soon as possible!
