Neck Scarves

Marc Jacobs

Hermes

Bonjour!
You all should be very jealous...because my working week is oover...AND IT'S A THURSDAY! I had monday off due to labor day, tuesday off due to illness, and now friday off due to this school celebration called welcome day! It's basically a morning filled with welcoming the new freshies to high school. Each grade picks a theme and are banned from telling anyone...we try, we really do. This year my class is Tea Party Tenth Graders which translates into Alice in Wonderland theme. Then there's Super Smash Bros Seniors, Ferocious Freshmen, and ____ Juniors (those juniors are tough to crack). Speaking of themes, you can tell the theme of this post is neck scarves. A classic silk scarf has so many different uses, each one being irresistible. You could tie it around your head like Audrey Hepburn, wear it around your neck like Marc Jacobs, or tie a prestigious Hermes scarf onto your handbag. They polish off any outfit and are a must have for Fall. Anyway, I have to go as I have to cook (god forbid) some fettuccine alfredo for tomorrows potluck.

Bonjour!
I'm so sorry for not posting in two whole weeks!!! I was at Stanford University for debate camp (I know, I'm a complete nerd). I already miss all of my SNFI (stanford national forensics institution)09 buddies, however I do not miss the 24/7 workload. I had two lovely room mates, Natasha and Carrie, who patiently put up with my shenanigans, as well as a jamba juice buddy, Zhou, who accompanied me to jamba juice half asleep every morning. I have acquired a love for fuzball, as I played it every night in the lounge. Overall, I had a stressful blast and came out of the experience with a ton of new friends. Now for the fashion part of this post! I was watching the movie Mamma Mia the other night and made a mental note of thigh high boots they were dancing in. When worn correctly they have the potential of looking super cute! Perhaps an oversized blazer? I especially like The Louis Vuitton ones, as I have a thing for ruffles and ribbons and all of that girlie stuff. The black just balances it all out. Anywho, I'll post pictures from my trip as soon as possible!
xoxo Valentine
