Bonjour!
I'm feeling a little discouraged today, as I have been looking at all of the blogs that are better then mine. Perhaps it is only natural that everyone has those days. The gloomy weather is not helping with my mood. Enough of this "oh woe is me" business! Last night, I went to a splendid masquerade ball and danced the night away in a Wonder Woman costume. My fellow party-goers included a peacock, a flamingo, numerous cats, a flapper, a flamenco dancer, a cowgirl, and let's not forget "Madonna". "Men and girls came and went like moths among the whisperings and the champagne and the stars." -F. Scott Fitzgerald (The Great Gatsby). Okay, no champagne or men but that's our little secret. The point of this post, however, is not to boast of gorgeous fetes but to note on the current happenings of my closet. I'm extremely unsatisfied with my wardrobes current state and hope to go shopping very soon. Hopes a strong word though. One of my favourite pieces in this whole shoot is my Vivienne Westwood top. The sleeves are so peculiar and unexpected! It used to be my mothers but it doesn't fit her anymore so it's all mine! I did this shoot 2 weeks a go but haven't had time to upload it. I'm sorry for recycling accessories so often! I have to go before my mom catches me not doing homework.

Me in San Fran!

Bonjour!
I just got back from the beach! Oh, Labor Day weekend is such a glorious thing! I've done nothing but lounge around soaking up the last of the Summer sun...much like a cat. The only difference is that a vicious sunburn has taken hostage of my back and face >.> I beat my brick high score! Level 11, CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?! Ah, I digress -
j'ai la tĂȘte dans les nuages- I've been keeping an eye on that red American Apparel beret for quite some time. I've been saving up my allowance so that I can eventually claim it as my own. Berets have always reminded me of England (i know, ironic) because when I was little my mum bought me this adorable navy coat with a matching beret. I used to trot through London wearing my hat proudly during the Christmas holidays. I'm hoping to revive the beret in my wardrobe as they have a real charm when worn CORRECTLY. Note how I stressed "correctly". It never fails to amaze me how many people mess this one up. Don't put all of your hair up in to the beret or you'll just look daft. Instead, leave your hair down and let it frame your face. If you still can't quite master putting on the standard beret then try a knit one as they are less stiff.

Swimsuits as tops..perhaps I'm a bit late

Oopsie daisies! I didn't realize the belt was wrong 'til just now. Oh well I'll live.

Pale nude top, from Topshop, over an American Apparel swimsuit.

Bonjour!
I bet my mother that I'd be able to go 60 days without wearing the same outfit twice. I had one day to go and was getting pretty desperate. At last I had run out of tops so I opted for a swimsuit...I know pretty crazy. I ended up liking the outcome so I thought I'd just post it for all of you. Also, I bought a new lipstick! It's a peachy coral color and I've been getting a lot of wear out of it. It's called Blase Apricot Revlon 702. I have to go clean my room now so toodles!
